You did not choose the poverty you were born into. You did not choose unemployment, neglect, or the suffering that surrounds you. But you must choose who you become.
Do not surrender your future because others failed to protect it.
Those who ignored your cries have lived their lives. They will answer for their own choices. Do not let their failures become your excuse to destroy yourself.
Every time drugs steal your mind, alcohol steals your judgment, prostitution steals your dignity, kidnapping steals your humanity, theft steals your character, and idleness steals your future. They promise escape—but they deliver chains.
You were not born to become a victim of your circumstances. You were born to become a victor over them.
You do not need permission to dream. You do not need consensus to build your life. You deserve the same dignity, opportunity, peace, and happiness that every human being deserves. Protect your mind, because once you surrender it, others will continue to exploit your weakness.
To every young person who grew up without parents... who raised younger brothers and sisters while still a child... who has carried burdens no child should carry—I see you. You matter. Your life matters. Your future matters.
And to us, the older generation: we owe our youth more than advice. We owe them our presence, our example, our love, our guidance, and real opportunities.
Today, I ask every young person to make one courageous decision.
For just one day, walk away from drugs. Walk away from alcohol abuse. Walk away from prostitution. Walk away from kidnapping. Walk away from theft. Walk away from idleness.
Give your true self one day of freedom.
See how clearly you think. See how differently you feel. See how hope begins to return.
The greatest revolution is not changing a government. It is changing yourself.
Kill the version of you that destroys your future. Give life to the version that builds it.
Your past is not your destiny. Your pain is not your identity. Your future is still waiting for you.
Rise. Rebuild. Return to yourself. The world still needs the person you were created to become.
